The TOLGUS SUB-AQUA CLUB became associated with the British Sub-Aqua Club of Great Britain in 1971 when Branch No 0778 was formed. However, the Club was originally formed in the late 1960s by a group of enthusiasts diving from a small fishing boat out of Portreath. At that time “dry” training was given in members’ homes and “wet” (and frequently very cold) training took place in Portreath Harbour
